Standard Ceremony
For the couple who want a straightforward wedding ceremony with some of the traditional components. I will prepare your ceremony with your input. It includes a more elaborate section for the vows and ring exchange than the The 10-minute Ceremony, and normally takes about 15 - 20 minutes.
A preliminary meeting is important, where you - as a couple - come and spend an hour with me to discuss your requirements, and where we can get to know each other. Basic elements of the ceremony include an introduction, an opening prayer, a brief oration about marriage, exchange of vows, giving of rings, pronouncement of marriage, a closing blessing, and filing of marriage documents at Home Affairs. I issue a South African Marriage Certificate to you on the day.
Rehearsal optional. Includes limited email and telephone consultation, as well as a custom marriage certificate, suitable for framing.
